Posted - 04/21/2009 : 17:22:35 No bother:)
My advice would be to follow the PS3 / PSP firmware blog: http://blog.us.playstation.com/category/firmware-playstation-hardware/
And visit the Playstation Store regularly - it might be an "upgrade" via the store.

Posted - 04/21/2009 : 08:02:59 Yes, although checking up on it, the 80GB CECHE01 model, actually has backwards compatibility, And so does the initial 20GB model - a fact that was missing from my post above.
Hang in there :)

Posted - 04/20/2009 : 16:54:42 Hi Ercico and welcome to the forum.
I'm afraid you're tough out'a luck as it is. Sony are very likely to provide PS2 emulation in the future, but at the moment, the only PS3 models that will play PS2 games are the initially released 60GB models.
