Do the ratings on this site apply to the hardware compatibility (e.g. NTSC 60GB) or software emulation (e.g. PAL 60GB)?

Both. The imported US and Asian game versions apply to hardware compatibility, while all the imported PAL apply to software emulation. Since none of the new models have hardware for PS1/PS2 games, (or even software emulation?!) maybe it should be noted in the ratings list?

Any suggestions?
